PepsiCo Digital Labs - Menu Optimization Recommendations
PepsiCo Digital Consultants will provide hands-on support to optimize online menus for locations across all online platforms and for any menu that is centralized or that can be pushed from third- party platforms.
Beverages Category
Update beverage bundle item names to include brand, size, and packaging.
E.g. For carbonated Pepsi Sodas: “Pepsi Beverage - 20oz. Bottle”
Update bundle item descriptions to include a call to action, where applicable
E.g. For carbonated Pepsi Sodas: “Please select from one of our refreshing PepsiCo beverages”
Update flavor modifier names to include brand
E.g. For Crush Brands: Crush Grape Soda, Crush Orange Soda
Update item images to include bundled refreshing PepsiCo beverages
Ensure all third-party aggregator sites are all consistent
Combos Category
Create dedicated in-menu Combos Category
Create new Combo items as determined by the Restaurant with the following item details:
updated imagery that includes main, side, and beverage.
required choice of side
required beverage modifier that denotes flavor, packaging and size.
Update beverage flavor order to highlight most popular items first.
updated item description that includes beverage mention
E.g. “Our delicious house-made chicken tenders paired with your choice of side and refreshing PepsiCo beverage”, and
inclusive beverage pricing.
Update Deals coupons to include item description including beverage mention
Add-Ons & Upselling Tools
Add optional beverage add-ons to individual and group-sized meals:
E.g. 2L Beverage add-on to menu items in Trays and Platters Categories
E.g. 20oz Beverages add-on to menu items in Entrees Category
Next Steps
The Restaurant to provide images of menu items to be optimized for Combos
The Restaurant or Pepsi Foodservice Sales Representative to provide full PepsiCo beverage inventory for all locations.
The Restaurant to determine point of contact for all systems-related questions
The Restaurant to determine the best day of the week and time of day for Pepsi Digital Consultants to implement and publish changes
Once the approved changes have been made, an email will be sent to The Restaurant when changes will be pushed.
PepsiCo Digital Consultants will provide the restaurant resources to replicate optimization for additional locations at the end of the program.
Reporting & Data
Reporting metrics will be pulled from your POS backend initially, then at 30 days after optimization is completed.
Timeline
The program will wrap up three weeks from when we receive all Point of Sale, Native, and Third-Party backend login information as well as this signed agreement.
